I’m a Helsinki based light art curator. I’m a free-lancer, concentrating on content rather than wow. Most of my curating work has had something to do with the Finnish Light Art Society FLASH or Lux Helsinki Festival.
In addition to curating, I teach both light art and lighting design, mostly at the University of Arts in Helsinki. I work in other fields of art exhibitions as well: designing space and graphics, lighting, and if the need be, even producing. I’ve written articles, reports and columns on various subjects, mostly about light. My blog at helloimatourist.blogspot.com is currently dealing with light art. I still design lighting for stage every now and then, if the gig is interesting and the people are nice.
